We focus on fundamental questions in genomics, ecology, and evolution. Our methods include fieldwork and labwork, but most of our time is spent analyzing genomics data using computational biology approaches.

In the future we will be recruiting graduate students (PhD) for Fall 2024 who are interested in one or more of several topics:

• Ant / bacteria co-evolution, landscape genomics, and population genomics
• Vertebrate and/or invertebrate genome evolution
